Hi, is there anywhere in this forum that focuses on best practices for using TR? I've been using it for years, but I struggle with putting too much projects and tasks in there and not linking to goals, etc. I could really benefit from interacting with people who have made TR work for them in a more simplistic manner. Just a thought, if it dosen't exist, maybe there's an opportunity to create a subforum for this?

This is also something that's occurred to me... but before you go too far, you should make yourself familiar with the 'GTD' tab and the 'Docs & Demos' tab on this website...

Another good (although a bit old) resource is 43folders by Merlin Mann, there are specific blog posts on NEXT ACTIONS and a lot of other issues...

> you have to work your way around the system a few times to get it 'grooved' into your thought patterns... i.e. daily habits

PS - one thing I picked up along the way is to *only set up next actions for those things you are ACTUALLY committed to doing in the next few weeks* the rest of those 'gunna do' things should go into the other parts of the system (you'll work out what they are, eg someday maybe, reference etc) and I have started using FUTURE PROJECTS to park things I will do in the near future (eg upgrade memory on a notebook) and which I'm planning out, but not yet committed to acting on.
